Organisers

What can Conference Connection do for you?

Are you an organiser of an academic conference? Do you need volunteers passionate about your subject area to assist with the set-up and running of events? Conference Connection can work with you to find enthusiastic students eager to help out. We select students based on the qualities that you are looking for to ensure the perfect match of skills and experience.

How does it work?

Conference organisers can get in touch using the contact form to inquire about working with us. We are looking to work with organisers running conferences in the summer of 2026. Once we know how many volunteers you need, the nature of the conference, and the conditions of volunteering, we can administer a selection process to match you with students who share the qualities you're after.

Students will be expected to assist with the set-up and running of conference events. We want to give students valuable hands-on experience; responsibilities may include working with presenters, helping with IT, and providing assistance to conference attendees. Whilst we expect students to be enthusiastic volunteers, we are equally committed to providing them with opportunities to attend conference events, network, and take part in activities.
